Mooji often quotes Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, and although I do not read much these days, I do have this book. I was looking through it earlier and was contemplating “Is it any wonder we cherish our beloved Mooji so much, and listen as clearly as we can to that which he speaks? ”
Maharaj says “The very meeting of a guru is the assurance of liberation.” (p 101) and “Insanity is universal. Sanity is rare. Yet there is hope, because the moment we perceive our insanity, we are on the way to sanity. This is the function of the Guru to make us see the madness of our daily living. Life makes you conscious, but the teacher makes you aware.” (p 282).
And both Mooji and Maharaj tell us that our greatest guru is our own inner self. None-the-less, the Grace of the guru is the Grace itself we are blessed with, and we are also truly blessed to have their fingers point us back to our own selves.
I am so grateful that Mooji and his team supply the satsang footage for these videos because this body may never attend a (live) satsang who knows? This channel is internet-satsang for me. There have been a number of times in the past when I have told a few people that I am taking some time off (if you want to make God laugh, tell him/her your plans). Videos happen when they happen. They began out of the blue, and they may end the same way. Meanwhile, it seems I have little to do with it.

“The Great Dictator” was written, directed and starring Charlie Chaplin, the greatest star of the silent era.
This was one of his (few) great later films wth sound, along with talkies Modern Times and City Lights.
"The Great Dictator" was an anti-war film (not your typical pro-war propaganda film), that was released in 1939-1940, while England was standing up to Nazi Germany, fulfilling peace treaties with European democracies.
America, Chaplins former homeland, was becoming the world’s richest nation by profiteering on the war, selling guns, while staying nuetral under a policy of issolation, that kept them out of the first half of WWI too!
Pearl Harbour changed things a few years later. By then my grandparents had been ethnically cleansed by poison gas in a Nazi death camp, and my jewish mom had escaped to freedom and safety in Canada.
Hannah, the character he addressed, in the film, was in hiding . She was to be sent to a concentration camp for being Jewish!
What do I think of what Charlie said?
Well, I will just repeat what my Dad said, when he first hand witnessed the MURDER of German soldiers when he arrived the day after D-Day / Normandy Invasion. Because our soldiers were told upon arrival in Normandy to storm the area and there was no retention of prisoners available…they were instructed to take NO prisoners. So, these young soldiers were arrested, weapons removed, then shot in the back BECAUSE the troops from the Allies had to move fast and swift and had no time for any prisoners – PERIOD.
So, to that, my father has always said, that there were good and bad on both sides, but bottom line is
Man’s Inhumanity to Man.
Since the time of Cain, man’s nature has been to destroy all who gets in his path. And since we ALL answer to God, that gives me comfort, because I know that God knows our hearts and will judge us all fairly and with justice. Man’s justice is always leaving us feeling unfulfilled, so you can not count on man. Leave these things to God.
