Am I required to get rental car insurance if I don’t have my own auto insurance?

I am planning to sell my car and cancel my auto insurance. If I want to rent a car, am I required to buy their rental car insurance, since I wouldn’t have any other auto insurance otherwise?
If I use my Discover card to rent the car, Discover will provide me with a Collision Damage Waiver of up to $25,000. Would that count as insurance?

Yes Yes and Yes! It’s very important to have rental insurance. Let’s say you park the car on the street, and come back and its side swipped. They are going to come after you for it But if you have insurance, it should cover it.

I has a at fault auto accident in California. My insurance policy is not up until July. They will not tell me how much it will go up until 30 before my policy expires. I am 19 (got my license at 18) and have no other tickets or violations. I currently pay $57 month. Should I be expecting a drastic increase?

No one here has the faintest idea of how much, if any, your insurance company may increase your premium. You must wait til renewal time. BTW, it is not a good idea to ask ones’ insurance company how much they will raise ones rates. That only calls their attention to your policy.

I got a speeding ticket for the first time ever. The cop put me down as 80+ mph, which i needed to go 70mph. When my insurance bill comes in, would my insurance be higher? Also my insurance is AAA. I still haven’t gotten my actual ticket in the mail yet, and i was wondering if my insurance bill would be any higher until I’m proven guilty, because i know that if i can take traffic school, it won’t get any higher & the point taken off. But i was wondering until then, would it still get higher?

Mooji often quotes Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, and although I do not read much these days, I do have this book. I was looking through it earlier and was contemplating “Is it any wonder we cherish our beloved Mooji so much, and listen as clearly as we can to that which he speaks? ”

Maharaj says “The very meeting of a guru is the assurance of liberation.” (p 101) and “Insanity is universal. Sanity is rare. Yet there is hope, because the moment we perceive our insanity, we are on the way to sanity. This is the function of the Guru to make us see the madness of our daily living. Life makes you conscious, but the teacher makes you aware.” (p 282).

And both Mooji and Maharaj tell us that our greatest guru is our own inner self. None-the-less, the Grace of the guru is the Grace itself we are blessed with, and we are also truly blessed to have their fingers point us back to our own selves.

I am so grateful that Mooji and his team supply the satsang footage for these videos because this body may never attend a (live) satsang who knows? This channel is internet-satsang for me. There have been a number of times in the past when I have told a few people that I am taking some time off (if you want to make God laugh, tell him/her your plans). Videos happen when they happen. They began out of the blue, and they may end the same way. Meanwhile, it seems I have little to do with it.
